Open House

Open House is our service to the homeless people of London and it is exactly what it sounds like.

We open up our house to those in need, giving them a space to relax, eat great food, share good company and be restored.

Music

Our choir is normally a quintet, drawn from a pool of around a dozen regular members.

They aim to make our music at St Patrick’s to the highest possible standard, to the Greater Glory of God.

Nightfever

Nightfever is a night of invitation for those passing by to come inside, light a candle and encounter the beauty of Jesus Christ in His Church.

Marian Prayer Group

Sunday afternoons

Marian Prayer group meets up every Sunday afternoon to pray for those who send in their petitions. We pray specifically for peace in the world and for those who are suffering physically and mentally at this difficult time. Prayers would also be dedicated to the Pope’s intention. If you would like to join us please get in touch.

As a Marian Helper, it is our mission to promote prayers to everyone.

The SOS Prayerline provides the support of prayer to those who are experiencing difficulties. This prayerline is staffed by volunteers who pray before Jesus in the Eucharist and answer telephone requests for prayer and petitions from those in need. It runs from 19:00-23:00 every evening, 365 days a year and there is an answering machine where callers can leave messages outside of these times.

The prayerline began at St Patrick’s in May 2002 and, to date, there have been 80,000+ calls. This grace and blessing is also a witness to the beauty that is Eucharistic Adoration.  Poverty comes in many guises, but at its heart is the desire to be known and loved by God. That poverty can be most beautifully healed by the power of prayer.

Cenacolo is a Catholic community that offers free, residential rehabilitation for people suffering from addiction, depression or simply looking for an experience of faith, prayer and friendship.

It began with one house in Italy, set up by a nun known as Mother Elvira and now has up to 70 houses on all five continents. Cenacolo relies on divine providence and through abandonment to our Lord has received an abundance. Members of Cenacolo lead a spiritual life of prayer and work. producing hand-made woodwork, musicals and testimonies as a means to fund the community.

If you or a loved one are suffering from addiction or depression, please e-mail Martin or Dina who run Cenacolo meetings at St. Patricks. To find out more about Cenacolo, visit their website.

Legion of Mary

Tuesdays 18:30-20:00 | Gather outside the church at 18:20

Meeting is held on a weekly basis starting by short prayers and one rosary to set it up spiritually. Then mainly, reports on evangelising or charity works assigned to the previous meeting. And also a bit of reflections on one of the passage of the religious Legion of Mary's handbook.

The street evangelisation outreach, aims to connect with people and extend an invitation to visit St Patrick's Church. Working in pairs, allows one individual to speak to the people they meeting while the other silently prays, seeking inspiration and guidance from God. The hope is to have conversations centered around Jesus' life and mission, God's love for everyone and the Catholic faith.
