Fr Michael Lang, a native of Germany, is a priest of the Oratory of St Philip Neri in London. He teaches theology at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, and Allen Hall Seminary. His latest book 'The Roman Mass: From Early Christian Origins to Tridentine Reform' has just been published by Cambridge University Press.
