Join us for the Feast of All Souls, Mass will be celebrated at 8am, 12:45pm and 6pm.
During the 6pm Mass, we invite you to leave the names of those who have died on the sanctuary and pray for the repose of their souls into Heaven. If you are not able to attend the Mass at 6pm but would like names to be added to the sanctuary please submit the names.
Our wonderful choir will sing Tomas Luis de Victoria’s glorious Requiem of 1605 at the 6pm Mass for All Souls. This setting of the Officium Defunctorum for 6 voices is often described as the last great masterpiece of Renaissance polyphony. It was written for the obsequies of the Dowager Empress Maria, whose chaplain Victoria had been. Although dignified and at times austere, it speaks of comfort in a great faith, and to the loving care and mercy of God.
